The first girl caught in the Demon Tag Ceremony is the next Blinded Shrine Maiden. It is not known whether she was locked up like the Rope Shrine Maiden or if she just continued her normal life in the mansion. after ten years, she is taken to the Blinding Room, held down upon her knees and the Family Master takes the Blinding Mask (A mask with stakes through the holes where the eyes should be) and thrust it down into her eyes. This was to blind all demons from Hell so that there would be no interuptions during the Strangling Ritual.
